2.1 Local Data (On-Device Only)

• Reading History: Your tarot card readings are stored locally on your device using localStorage. This data remains on your device and is never uploaded to any server.
• Preferences: App settings and preferences are stored locally.

2.2 Payment Information

• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to process premium subscriptions. When you purchase a subscription, RevenueCat collects minimal transaction data (purchase history, subscription status) on behalf of Google.
• No Direct Payment Data: We do not collect, store, or process credit card numbers, bank accounts, or other payment credentials directly.

2.3 No Tracking or Advertising

• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
• We do not collect personal identifiers (names, emails, phone numbers) for account creation.
• We do not share any data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used solely to:

• Provide the core tarot reading functionality
• Store your reading history for your convenience
• Process and manage premium subscriptions via RevenueCat
• Maintain and improve the app

4. Data Storage & Security

• Local Storage: All reading history is stored on your device. We implement reasonable security measures to protect data stored locally.
• No Cloud Storage: We do not store any user data in the cloud. All data remains on your device.
• RevenueCat Security: Payment data handled by RevenueCat is secured according to their privacy policy and complies with PCI-DSS standards.

5. Data Deletion

5.1 Your Reading History

You can delete your reading history at any time by:

• Using the "Clear History" option within the app, OR
• Uninstalling the app (which removes all local data)

5.2 Subscription Data

Subscription and purchase records are managed by RevenueCat. To request deletion of subscription-related data, please contact RevenueCat directly or contact us for assistance.

6. Children's Privacy

Decision Tarot is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. HomeBeacon

The following sections apply specifically to HomeBeacon, our family wellness check-in and care coordination app.

7.1 Information HomeBeacon Collects

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely via hashing).
• Profile Information: You may provide a display name and relationship to your loved one (e.g., "daughter," "caregiver").
• Check-In Data: Daily wellness check-ins including mood, medication adherence, and activity level are stored on our secure backend server.
• Family Coordination Data: Tasks, calendar events, care journal entries, and expense tracking records shared within your family group.
• Usage Data: Weekly report summaries and wellness trends are generated from check-in data.

7.2 How HomeBeacon Uses Your Information

We use collected data solely to:

• Provide daily check-in functionality and share status with authorized family members
• Generate weekly wellness reports and trend analysis
• Send notifications about missed check-ins or pattern changes
• Enable family coordination features (tasks, calendar, journal, expenses)
• Improve the app and fix issues

7.3 Data Sharing

• Your check-in data is shared ONLY with family members you explicitly invite to your care circle.
• We never sell your data.
• We do not share data with advertisers (no ads exist in HomeBeacon).
• Aggregated, anonymized data may be used for improving our services.

7.4 Data Storage & Security

• Check-in data, family coordination data, and account information are stored securely on Railway (our cloud hosting provider) using encrypted connections.
• Passwords are hashed and salted before storage.
• All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.

7.5 Data Retention & Deletion

• Your data is retained while your account is active.
• You can delete your account at any time through app settings, which removes all associated data from our servers.
• Uninstalling the app does not delete server-side data — account deletion is required for complete removal.

7.6 Children's Privacy

HomeBeacon is designed for adults caring for aging parents and other adult family members. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify users through the app.
